Kawhi Leonard found it "shocking" that the NBA detailed his injury when announcing a fine against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Clippers were fined $ 50,000 for statements from the team and Doc Rivers who were "inconsistent" with Leonard's health.
The NBA also said "Leonard suffers from an ongoing injury to the kneecap tendon in his left knee and is currently placed by the team on an injury protocol for back-to-back games."
Leonard has served the first night of back-to-back matches twice this season.
"I mean, it was shocking, but I don't care," Leonard said when asked what he thought of the NBA revealing details about his injury. "I am not someone who reads the media. We are going to manage it as well as possible to keep me healthy and that is the most important thing: being healthy in the future."
