Several BYU Olympic sports teams were in action this weekend and many got good results.
BYU continued its dominance with an 85-5 win over Utah Valley Friday night. The Cougars are undefeated, ending the season in New Mexico on Saturday.
The hockey team beat Montana State on Thursday night with a 3-2 score at Peaks Arena. Montana State placed in 4th place and the Cougars 18th Cougars play this week in Colorado, Northern Colorado and Metro State, with all three games being played in Colorado.
The women's soccer team sealed its WCC title with a blowout victory Saturday night over Loyola Marymount with an 8-1 score. The # 4 Cougars are the last undefeated team in NCAA women's football, waiting for their inaugural NCAA Tournament, which is released Monday afternoon.
BYU Women's Basketball
BYU fell to Washington State in Pullman, Washington on Saturday afternoon with a score of 50-67. The Cougars play Texas A&M Kingsville Thursday night at the Marriott Center.
The women's volleyball team is now 22-3 on the season after beating Santa Clara and San Francisco this week. They are now preparing for a showdown with conference leader San Diego in a match likely to determine the conference title.
