It's all about victories and defeats now

If you have followed this exciting football season in high school, you already know that every game counts.

Just weeks before the 2019 regular season, the coming week will really begin to heat up – and programs that continue to work hard and offer this room that could make a difference – will move on.

What all these coaches and players have worked so hard during the off season will soon pay off.

District titles and positions for the playoffs will certainly make the coming week interesting to attend a game in your area.

5 games to watch

Although every game counts for the week ahead, five confrontations are waiting for you – a little more than the rest.

If these competitions are taking place in your community, be sure to go there. You will definitely see some great players and teams:

Christopher Columbus at the 11th University, 7. This is one of those Friday games that everyone looks forward to from both schools. It's really a competition that pits two of the most prominent teams and will answer questions on both programs before the playoffs. First-year head coach Dave Dunn has his talented program ready to go – and we already know that coach Daniel Luque and his team would like nothing better than to win a win against team of 8A.

# 15 Gulliver Prep in North Palm Beach Benjamin, 7. The Raiders are real and will have a chance to prove it on the road Friday against a talented team. A win will allow head coach Earl Sims and his team to be in the spotlight as the playoffs are only weeks away.

Goleman to Dr. Krop (Goleman High), Friday, 3:30 pm. These two programs are independent this year – and each team has met all the challenges, as the Gators and head coach Ariel Cribeiro and his 6-0 team are certainly ready for this match with an equally undefeated Lightning team (6- 0) under the second goal. year head coach Tommy Corporal. It is indeed one of those Friday games that suits schools and programs.

McArthur at number 12 Cardinal Gibbons, 7. After losing to Plantation American Heritage last week, head coach Matt Dubuc and his leaders are eager to return to the charge against a quality opponent. For the Mustangs and head coach Pierre Senatus, it's all about gaining momentum and continuing to progress to the playoffs. This has a chance to be a very good match on Friday.

No. 14 Planting at No. 1 St. Thomas Aquinas, 7. That's for the district title, and no one knows more about the big games than head coach Roger Harriott and his nationally recognized Raiders. While Colonels and head coach Steve Davis know what's at stake, it will take a complete performance and an error free match on Friday to win.
