Broncos at Packers: Live Updates, Game Statistics, Highlights for Week 3 Game at Lambeau Field

First-year head coach Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers are looking to stay undefeated this week, while freshman Vic Fangio and his Denver Broncos are still looking for their first victory.

The Broncos thought they had their first win last week against the Chicago Bears after a two-point conversion that gave them the lead with 31 seconds left, but Eddy Pineiro made a 53-yard winning shot in the final. Denver played two close games early in the 2019 season and hopes things will move soon. A win in Green Bay would put their season back on track.

The Packers have won three of their last four games with the Broncos, but we are at the beginning of the season and we still have a lot to learn about both teams.

The Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos face each other in what could be one of the most underrated battles of the third week. This Packers defense seems to be well improved. They invested in pass smugglers, Preston Smith and Za Darius Smith, who played well, and the safety of rookie, Darnell Savage, was also impressive. The attack is experiencing growth difficulties, but Aaron Rodgers is still one of the top NFL quarterbacks and head coach Matt LaFleur is known for his offensive plans. Things should work out soon.

The Packers did not score any points in the second half last week, but still managed to hold the Minnesota Vikings to 21-16. Offensive halfback Aaron Jones finally took the lead in the second week, accumulating 116 yards and one touchdown on 23 runs. It could be held for another big match, especially if the Packers jump at a fast pace.

Rodgers could be the X factor in this game. The Broncos were able to stay within striking distance against the Chicago Bears most of the match last week because of Mitch Trubisky's inefficiency. It is hard to criticize him too much since he orchestrated a winning workout, but overall, he only rode 120 yards. Rodgers will be the best quarter that the Broncos have met so far this season. That's why returning cornerback Bryce Callahan this week is absolutely crucial for this Denver defense.

Regarding the offensive side of the ball, the Broncos still have to run 100 yards in a game. We're still waiting for Royce Freeman and Phillip Lindsay to get back into shape, and that could be the week that's going on. Dalvin Cook scored 154 yards rushing against the Packers last week. Vic Fangio should therefore try to see what he can do to open running tracks during the third week.
