Rams' forecasts game against the Broncos Denver Saturday is the first time they will be at the Coliseum since then
won a playoff over the Cowboys Dallas last season.
Quarterback Jared Goff will not play, but is associated with the newly refurbished facility. Goff said on Wednesday that he and the receiver Cooper Kupp bought a stadium series for the season.
“I'm excited to go up there and see it,” he said.
This season of Goff is scheduled to earn $ 4.3 million, and the number of salaries is $ 8.9 million, in the fourth year of its rookie contract. Rams have put in place a fifth year option for 2020, paying almost $ 23 million to Goff.
But the Rams and Goff could agree on terms of a new treaty before that.
In June, the Philadelphia Eagle quarterback Carson Wentz signed an extension of $ 128 million with a guaranteed $ 107.9. Dallas Quarterback Cowboys Dak Prescott, entering the final season of his contract, is seeking more than $ 30 million per season.
“I hope Dak gets as much as he can and is good for him,” said Goff last week. “I'm Dak's friend and I wish him nothing but the best thing.”
Rams General Manager, Les Snead, has said, “It doesn't matter, if, directly,” the Ramsf sign signal that stretches.
Whenever that day arrives, Goff will be located for larger investments. Has he bought a room at the new Inglewood Stadium of Rams, which is due to open for the 2020 season?
"They sold those big ones," he said on Wednesday, laughing, "but I didn't buy one of them."
For the second year running, Goff is on the right track to start the season without entering a pre-season game.
Coach Sean McVay wants Goff – and beginners and other key players – to open on 8 September at
the Carolina Panthers without any injuries.
That strategy worked well for Goff last season.
In the openness against the Oakland Raiders, he completed 18 of 33 passes for 233 yards and two backs, not intercepted, in a 33-13 peak. He directed the Rams to record 13-3 and won two playoff games before the Rams lost the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl 13-3.
Goff was voted to the Pro Bowl for the second season
in a row.
Therefore, Goff is not concerned about repeating McVay's pre-production process, including common practices with the Raiders and Chargers but again there will be no cases with a live rush including combat.
Goff acknowledged that there was no “substitute” for those cases where they lived, but he is not worried about it.
“I want to hit, I guess …
get that first out of the way, ”he said,“ but I'll be fine. ”
In last year's preseason game, McVay decided to play the lead and defense for her
a series or two against Houston Texans. But with two Rams starting an inactive offensive linemen for the game to avoid injuries, and another ankle injury nursing, McVay considered his plan after taking into account that the Texans played elite pass Jadeveon Clowney and J.J. Watt. The Rams starter proportion remained on the line. The defense played seven plays.
During this preliminary season, almost all Rams were beginning to commit and defend against the Raiders and the Cowboys.
This will not change against the Broncos, particularly after a peer injury suffered inside the line repairer Micah Kiser against the Cowboys in Honolulu. Kiser was on the right track to win a starter job but it will be set aside indefinitely after Tuesday surgery.
So McVay is adhering to his plan.
“When you look at some of the continuity we now have on both sides of the ball coming back and you say,‘ OK, if there was something to happen, the worth of that risk that reminds us?
“And we thought that the answer is not that either.”
McVay stated that Kiser would be set aside for a “long period of time,” but the Rams had not decided on an injury reserve. “That is a pity that happened to a great player,” said McVay. “If anyone you know is about to handle the right way to attack the rehabilitation – as we talk about jeopardizing these circumstances – it's going to Micah Kiser. before longer exercise scheduled for Thursday.
