ALAMEDA, Calif. – The Oakland Raiders have signed the contract with the independent player and former Husker De 'Mornay Pierson-El.
The Raiders dropped receiver Saeed Blacknall on Thursday to make room at Pierson-El.
Pierson-El recently played for Salt Lake in the Alliance of American Football. Prior to joining the AAF, Pierson-El spent time with Washington after being signed as a free traded agent and also briefly played with Montreal in the CFL.
Pierson-El has played four seasons in Nebraska with 100 receptions for 1,309 yards and 11 touchdowns in 43 games.
