John Daly withdraws from British Open after refusing to apply for a chart

-

John Daly has withdrawn from the British Open Open three days after the R&A in Scotland, who organizes the event, who refused to use his 53-year-old cart use. Daly, who suffers osteoarthritis in his right generation, regularly carts on the senior trip and granted him a medical exemption from the American PGA to use a cart at a PGA Championship in May. Kevin Streelman's American will be replaced at the Royal Northern Ireland Portrush.

In a statement issued on Saturday, the R&A said it had carefully considered the request from Daly, which had been withdrawn from British Open before last year's competition due to “unacceptable” pain.

“Having considered all the relevant factors, the Branch Committee has decided to reject its request,” the statement reads, partly. “The R&D believe that the course is an integral part of the Championship and is central to the tradition of gully connections equivalent to The Open. We must ensure that, as far as possible, the challenge is the same for all players in the field. ”

Daly won the Open British in 1995 after a playoff with Costantino Rocca, which automatically qualifies for the event every year through 60 years of age. His last appearance at the march in 2017 was when he lost 12 pieces in the first two rounds and lost the cut. Daly expressed disappointment with the decision R & A on Saturday, but initially he said he intended to “shoot him” at this year's competition, which starts on 18 July.

“Mayors crossed can do it through pain,” Daly wrote on social media. “See you in Ireland.”

The R&D announced on Tuesday that Daly withdrew due to a medical condition. It is unclear whether the effects of the spider Daly said he had suffered last week as part of his decision. Daly tweeted Sunday a grip from a brown atmosphere resulted in a trip to the emergency room where “it was treated for early sepsis.” t

At the PGA Championship, Daly was the first player to use a cart around Casey Martin in 2012. Martin, who has a circulatory disorder on his right foot, used a cart competing in the US Opening. in 1998 and 2012 after some legal battles.

Dalel's representative, Streelman, was in the British Opening in 2015. The top 40 years of age were connected to 54 in 2014.
