Little more than a month to shoot the ball in Second Division B. This season, a total of five Vizcaya squads they will take part in group two of the bronze category: Amorebieta, Arenas, Barakaldo, Bilbao Athletic and Leioa. Two sets less than last season due to the decline of the Gernika and the Cultural of Durango. The block of this course presents certain changes with respect to the previous year, since the Asturian and Cantabrian teams disappear and six teams from Castilla y León enter, such as the Cultural Leonesa, Guijuelo, Unionistas de Salamanca, Salamanca CF UDS, Burgos and Valladolid B Likewise, the newly promoted Alavés B, Osasuna B and Haro Deportivo are also incorporated into this group.
The Second B will start next August 25th. The start is marked by the great displacement that both the Arenas, Amorebieta and Bilbao Athletic have to do, but above all, due to the great Castilian presence that exists between the Biscayan rivals, since four of the five opponents come from Castilla y León. The getxotarras will face home at the Salamanca CF UDS on the first day, the zornotzarra table starts the league in the field of Cultural Leonesa and the rojiblanco branch will be measured at Haro Deportivo at El Mazo. The Barakaldo and the Leioa will start the season in their respective stadiums. The factory workers will receive the Unionists of Salamanca in Lasesarre and the Catalans will start the course against Guijuelo in Sarriena.
The competition will come to an end on May 17 next year, before giving entrance to the play-offs of promotion. The closing season also has Castilian squads as protagonists. The Leioa will visit the Helmántico Stadium, headquarters of the Unionists of Salamanca. The Barakaldo will put the finishing touch in front of the Burgos in El Plantío. In addition, the Arenas will be measured at the Cultural Leonesa in Gobela. Bilbao Athletic and Amorebieta will also end the season as locals and will face off against Alavés B and Calahorra, respectively.
Twenty Bizkaian derbies
The group is composed of five Vizcaya groups, so there will be a total of twenty meetings between them. The derbies, on this occasion, are widely distributed throughout the course of the competition. There are only more than one derby in days 14 and 33, corresponding to November 24 and April 12, when they will face Leioa and Amorebieta -first in Sarriena and then in Urritxe- and Barakaldo-Arenas -first in Lasesarre and then in Gobela-. The first bet among Biscayans will be a Leioa-Barakaldo in day four, which is expected to be September 15. In the last of the derbies, Bilbao Athletic will visit Lasesarre to face Barakaldo on May 3, on the penultimate day.
In addition, in the days five and 24, will face Arenas and Amorebieta. The faces Arenas and Bilbao Athletic will be seen in the seventh and the twenty-sixth. A week later, it will be the turn of the red-and-white team, which will face Amorebieta. In days 13 and 32, highlights the duels between the teams of the Right Bank – in the first round will be in Gobela and the second in Sarriena -. The Amorebieta-Barakaldo will be played on day 15, with a return in 34. Finally, on day 16, there is a Leioa-Bilbao Athletic, with a trip to Sarriena and back in Lezama. In addition to the Biscayan derbies, the Real Sociedad B-Bilbao Athletic will be played first in Zubieta on December 22 and in Lezama, will be played on May 10, corresponding to day 37.
