Sprinters Jimmy Vicaut and Christophe Lemaître have not achieved remarkable times today in Lucerne. At two weeks of the French championships in Saint-Etienne, the tricolor representatives finished 2nd and 4th in their series.

French sprinters Jimmy Vicaut and Christophe Lemaitre did not panic on Tuesday in Lucerne (Switzerland), respectively in 100 and 200 m, just over two weeks of the French championships in Saint-Etienne (26-28 July) .

Jimmy Vicaut finished 2nd in the 100m in 10 sec 11 (-0.3m / s wind) behind South African Akani Simbine (10.06) and did not improve his best time of the season (10.07), after a series in 10 sec 27.

Vicaut has to face some of the best sprinters in the world (Justin Gatlin, Noah Lyles) Friday in Monaco.

Christophe Lemaitre, for his second 200 m of the season only, finished 4th in the race in 20 sec 63 (-0.5 m / s), ahead of Jamaican Yohan Blake (5th in 20.64). The race was won by another Jamaican: Akeem Bloomfield (20.53).
