Arsenal news and transfers live: Targets in London, Zaha back-up eyed, Edu suggests Fagner move

Welcome to the football.london daily Arsenal live blog.

The summer is in full swing, with the new home kit officially launched – and now all eyes are on the transfer business that could be done before the window slams shut in August.

The Gunners have signed Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Martinelli for a fee thought to be in the region of €6m, but the club’s hopes of securing summer signings doesn’t stop there.

They are thought to be in the market for a centre back, a central midfielder and a goalscoring winger, but funds could be restricted due to the club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League.

A second bid has reportedly been made for Celtic’s Kieran Tierney, but it has again been rejected by the Scottish champions.

Wilfried Zaha is also on the agenda, with the Gunners making an initial £40m bid after the Crystal Palace winger made it clear to his club that he wants a move to north London.

The likes of Ryan Fraser, William Saliba, Yannick Carrasco have also been linked, so we’ll keep you up to date on everything, as well as the latest on Edu’s imminent arrival as the new technical director.

We want you to get involved too – tell us your thoughts on what’s happening at Arsenal by tweeting us at @ArsenalFC_FL.
