First team coach Simon Bassey has resigned AFC Wimbledon with joint consent after 17 years at the club.
The 43-year-old first started out as a player when the club was formed in 2002 before working through the back room of the club from 2004. He was part of five campaigns with the club.
He helped guide Dons through non-league and then up from League Two to League One in 2016.
In his 14 years as a coach at the club, Bassey spent a season as a reserve teammate and the remaining time as a first-rate coach.
He also had two poles as caretaker manager in 2012 and 2018 after Neal Ardley's departure in November.
