Gradually, RJ Barrett prefers to draft the New York Knicks or Los Angeles Lakers over the Memphis Grizzlies, according to Marc Berman of the New York Post.
Barrett is likely to find his desire, as all signals towards the Grzzlies drafting Murray State point, Ja Morant guard with the second overall choice.
The Knicks have a third choice, and the Lakers choose fourth. It would shock many people in the league unless there is a Barrett draft at New York.
By NBA source, the Duke swingman prefers a 6-foot-7 if it goes over Memphis, until No. 3 or No. 4, to go play with the Knicks or with the Lakers.
Pick No. 2 at Memphis, but the source told Post that the Grizzlies are heading towards Murray State guard point Ja Morant.
Barrett held a show during his only season at the Duke. The talented lefty represents an average of 22.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.3 assists with shooting 45.4 percent from the field, 30.8 percent from outside the arc and 66.5 percent from the free-spent line.
Barrett is probably the best pure scorer in this year's class. The Knicks need all the help. New York Barrett can be drafted and paired with Dennis Smith Jr., Kevin Knox and Mitchell Robinson, or packaged in trade with the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis.
