Al-Gouna stayed in the Egyptian Premier League after a draw with Ismaili negatively on Monday evening as part of the 34th and final round of the competition.

El Gouna lifted his lead to 37th in the 13th place in the Egyptian league, three points behind Petrojet, who are threatened with a drop to the first division.

Petrojet will have a match against the Arab Contractors, which will rise to 37 points, equal to El Gouna, if they win.

Al Gouna ensured his stay at the top of the Premier League, thanks to his superiority over Petrojet in direct confrontations this season.

El Gouna managed to beat Petrojet back and forth with two goals to one in the two matches, to ensure progress on the oil team before going to the last confrontation.

According to the regulations of the Egyptian Football Federation, the ranking of the centers among the equal clubs in the points of the Premier League, is by resorting to direct confrontations first.

Al-Gouna have one game left to play for Zamalek, but the Sahel team will not need to score after being confirmed to stay in the Premier League.

It is worth mentioning that Ismaili's balance rose to 43 points in seventh place, leaving him with one postponed encounter during which he will meet with Zamalek.
