Former FC Barcelona superstar Neymar became the world’s most expensive footballer after completing a €222 million (R3.6 billion) transfer from the Blaugrana to Paris Ssaint-Germain in August 2017.
Despite almost being two years into his five-year contract with the Ligue 1 champions, the 27-year-old is said to have acquired interest from LaLiga duo FC Barcelona and Los Blancos.
According to El Chiriguito TV, Neymar, who has been sidelined by injury for the majority of the 2018/19 campaign, has revealed his desire to complete a move to Real to countryman Marcelo via WhatsApp.
According to the journalist, who made the reported revelation, the main reason behind the former Santos player’s reported decision is the need for a change of scenery.
The journalist who made light of Neymar’s new-found decision, apparently has evidence to support the claims and suggested that the Brazil international contacted Real veteran Marcelo to let him know of the move before sharing it with countryman Casemiro and Vinicius Junior.
