The Spanish capital will host the Champions League final between Liverpool and Tottenham at the beginning of next month.
Fans of those clubs are scrambling around to find the best deals as they look to see their side in the showpiece event.
But for fans of other Premier League giants, a weekend trip away could turn into chaos among other fans.
And now Travel Republic are allowing Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City fans who had booked a city break in Madrid the chance to change destination.
Travel Republic is trialling an offer which will enable one willing fan to switch their booking from Madrid to Siberia – the most remote part of Europe.
While fans are also being allowed to switch their trip for a weekend at less visited Spanish cities such as Valencia, Bilbao or Seville.
Frank Rejwan, Managing Director at Travel Republic, said: “For the next three weeks there will be little respite from gloating Spurs and Liverpool fans at work, in the pub and every time people turn on the radio or open a paper.
“Normally a weekend in Madrid would be the chance to get away from it all and have a great time, but if you are an Arsenal or Man Utd fan then this could turn into a hellish weekend away.
“Travel Republic have the broadest range of holidays in Spain and worldwide, so we are pleased to offer our customers the opportunity to make changes to their plans away from Madrid and to discover some of Spain’s other great cities – or get away from it completely to the solitude and relatively football free oasis of Siberia.”
Liverpool head to Madrid next month for their second Champions League final in a row.
They were beaten by Real Madrid last year but face Premier League rivals Tottenham this time around.
And Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is looking forward to the encounter.
“Last year we really felt we have to go back: We have to go back, we cannot let it stand like this, that’s not possible,” said Klopp.
“Now we get another chance and we will go for that, of course.
“I’m not sure if it will happen again because it’s so special.”
