In Brazil, a referee died during a futsal match
Brazilian referee Isildo Fabiano Bianchi da Silva died on May 10 during a futsal match between Intelli and Taubate teams in the city of São Carlos São Paulo, according to the Paulista Futsal League website.
As local Gezeta Esportiva writes, the 44-year-old referee blew the whistle and two minutes after the start of the game, he felt bad and fell on the field. Doctors gave him first aid, after which he was hospitalized. In the hospital, he died of cardiac arrest. It is not reported whether the referee had any health problems.
The match was interrupted, its new date has not yet been appointed.
