Alex Scott to mark BT Sports Industry Awards

Scott will return to host the world's second largest commercial sports awards for the second time, along with other Mark Durden-Smith presenter at Battersea Evolution on Thursday, 25 April.

It follows 12 months where Scott is developing a portal in the development of women's football, as the media, sponsorship and investor rights continue unprecedented.

Scott made history in August when she was the first woman to appear on Sky Sports Super Sunday, at the end of the summer in which she made waves as a new addition to the BBC World Cup team.

As a player, the Londoner won 140 England cap and captained Arsenal, helping the club to achieve a historic “quadruple” in the 2007 season.

Scott will work with the incredible Durden-Smith to lead 1,700 guests through events as the winners of the largest and most prestigious commercial sports awards are celebrated in constellation celebrations.

Scott said: “I am delighted to be returning to the BT Sports Industry Awards.

“There has been a lot – and change – in my career, and in sport in general in the last 12 months. I love doing my job and if that helps others see what I can see, I am proud to be one of the women who do my work in a year of transformation for women in sport.

“It's great fun with Mark and meeting all the incredible people who make the sports industry so special.” T

The Sports Industry Group, organizers of the BT Sports Industry Awards, have shown that some surprises can be expected at night.

Previous guests included HRH Duke of Sussex, Eddie Izzard, Sir Mo Farah, Sir Ben Ainslie, Dame Jessica Ennis-Hill, Anthony Joshua, David Beckham and more major names from the sporting world.

The evening, which has been sold every year in the past five years, is recognized as the largest annual commercial and creative exhibition in the sport.

The cash tables for this year's event have already been sold but there are limited ticket and other table packages available.

A new Networker ticket was also introduced for 2019 – aimed at new people and others who wish to attend individually for professional and business development purposes.
